Premio DMC has been pioneer integrating social projects into meeting and incentive programs since 2001. By means of this initiative, participants can help improve the development and quality of life of local children and social groups that are in vulnerable situations, while having a once in a lifetime experience.

Our CSR projects are based on sustainability, responsibility, and transparency, where all the participating companies, the communities involved, and the environment benefit greatly.

All of our suggested activities have been carefully selected and inspected. We evaluate their relevance and commitment; it is vital for us to work together with strategic local allies to guarantee an integral and positive impact.

Pack for a Purpose

Premio DMC is proud to be a member of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers to make a lasting impact in the communities they visit on their journeys. In Costa Rica, that means contributing to our honored tradition of promoting sustainable tourism.

The principle behind Pack for a Purpose is simple: If participants save just a little space in their suitcase in order to bring some supplies on their program, they can make a substantial impact in the lives of local children.

We support two critical causes in Costa Rica

One of the main projects that we support is the Blue Zone in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. This region is one of five regions in the world referred to as a Blue Zone, home to some of the oldest and healthiest people on the planet. Our project will directly benefit Association Peninsula de Nicoya Zona Azul, an association that cares about the well-being of the blue zone population in this rural area while, at the same time, raising awareness about the challenges and needs behind the Costa Rican centenarians and their families.

The other crucial cause we have supported for years is Hogar Brotes de Olivo, a temporary resource for a number of children from newborns to 5-year-olds, who are in high-risk situations. The home supplies for their physical, emotional, educational, and health needs as best they can.

Some of the most requested items, such as food supplement powders, bars of soap or baby formula, may not seem like a lot to most travelers, but you'd be surprised at the meaning it has for this essential project.
